I like reading fantasy novel but I admit sometimes it's hard to understand at first but after you get the whole picture of it...it's like you live in the fantasy world...BTW...I have bought the second book of the The Magic Kingdom of Landover 'The Black Unicorn' but haven't read it yet...too many workload now...sigh...This is a picture I edited which really express my thoughts and feelings right now...so much for escapism ha?!escape la sgt...hehehe...even though I borrow this from Shrek but still...it's my fantasy world...for those who have your own fantasy world to share...feel free to respond...Is it real?...you bet its real...for me la...remember...fantasy and reality collide!
Ok...this post would be a bit off from what I'm supposed to post on this blog but it really catches my attention...as we in Malaysia are concerned about the 'thing' happened in Perak which I don't I have to mention it here...In the US, a guy who appeared on a reality TV show, Wife Swap was and still being hated by...em...I would say whoever knows his existence in this world...You know the nature of this show where 2 wives from very different family backgrounds will swap places and become temporary spouse to the other family...this guy, Stephen Fowler...He claimed that he's from an elite family and abusively insult his temporary spouse, Gayla Long...he insults her in front of his kids and all the possible way that he could...some of the 'infamous' statement he made are:"you are undereducated,over opinionated, and you are overweight and its not a good combination, Gayla"
"i probably earn more than a week than you do in a year"
"you read that so well (laughs), i don't know you can read (laugh)"
"she's a very rude lady but its ok cause she doesn't have education"(he told this to his kids)this is just a small portion of his insults...just watch this video and you'll know how rude, stupid, arrogant, self-centered and what not he is...seriously, WATCH IT!Sorry i cannot put the video her...so watch it on youtube...this is only one of the videos...you can find more on youtube...these are websites/blog that are related to this issue:

In the past 2 weeks I have been reading and studying Fantasy genre... I love Fantasy books as it gives us something totally different form what we have in our daily life. The book that I read is 'Kingdom For Sale - Sold!' by Terry Brooks. He is one of the best fantasy writer. For me the story is very interesting and funny. The characters are Ben Holiday - the human and the King, Questor Thews - the wizard and Abernathy - man turn to dog which results to a talking dog. The wizard and dogman had to help Ben to safe Landover...the magic kingdom.The funny bit is the relationship that those three characters had. Abernathy was pissed off with Questor as he was the one who turned Abernathy into dogs. But there's a story behind it...don't want to spoil it. Ben is a very stubborn human being...and can you imagine how chaotic the save-the-kingdom journey that they went through! This book has its own series which are Magic Kingdom For Sale/Sold (Book 1) The Black Unicorn (Book 2) Wizard at Large (Book 3) The Tangle Box (Book 4) The Witch's Brew (Book 5). A must-read book I would say...I'll definitely buy the rest of the series... This book deals with trying to find the significance of our life in this world...even though you yourself is a powerful, rich and so on...sometimes the persons around you are the ones who make your life very significant...they define the significance of your life...sometimes we don't know about it until we lost them...and plus, don't be surprised...there's so much more than just fairy tales in fantasy kingdom...the real thing might not be the same as what it seems...
